It is hard to tell exactly how much was having an infant, not seeing people because of covid, and not having enough margin. But this year all of those things have improved. And no apologies needed about The Tempest! I never remember to check into that performance. I will remember next year ;-) I feel so terrible about your injury. I really hope that you can focus on yourself and rest and recover when you get home in a few days!!!!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00566356380690888973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3504438272766227101.post-86066215063957246432021-09-26T08:55:06.378-04:002021-09-26T08:55:06.378-04:00Nadia would like to join the band at our local mid...Nadia would like to join the band at our local middle school, but we don't live anywhere near close enough for her to walk. How awesome that Peter can walk there!! It sounds like this school year is off to a good start and you don't sound overwhelmed (is that the right word?) compared to last year. What a blessing that you have some orthodontic coverage. I had that when I was a professor, but sadly the kids weren't ready for braces when I was employed. However I don't regret the fact I a back to being a SAHM one tiny bit. Our kids did organized sports from 2012-2020 but now haven't done any since March 2020. It helps that your husband can help with getting them to practices and games. I remember reading Uncle Tom's cabin decades ago and had a similar assessment as you. Thank you for your kind words about my broken ankle. It's been a challenge for me both physically and emotionally. And I wanted to extend my deepest apologies that I didn't tell you about The Tempest. When I read that you were reading it in your blog, I immediately thought - she must be attending the same performance as us. I actually looked around the auditorium to see if your family was there that night. Next time I'll be sure to tell you in advance!!! They do a free performance of Shakespeare every year in August in Lewisburg. Anyhow, please forgive me for not letting you know about it in advance. As for extroverts, neither my husband or I are extroverts, but we ended up with 2/3 children who are! Well Nadia was more so when she was younger but she still definitely leans that direction. Oliver is still VERY extroverted. Ian is our only introvert.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07294312184321261946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3504438272766227101.post-28030500311014497772021-09-21T08:09:18.503-04:002021-09-21T08:09:18.503-04:00I've got nothing to offer you (regarding your ...I've got nothing to offer you (regarding your final questions) except my admiration and encouragement. What amazing work and order and decisions and activities!!! You really have a gift for finding and implementing resources. I quite admire that!!!Aflyonmyhomeschoolwallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12746892667170459729noreply@blogger.com
